Čertova stěna – Luč (25 km)

31/10/2018

The natural reserve Čertova stěna (Devil's Wall) is a wild rock scarp scattered with chaotically piled up granite boulders. A more than 30m high block of rock called Čertova kazatelna (Devil's Pulpit) offers a magnificent view of the Vltava River bed. You can easily get there from the car park at the road between Vyšší Brod and Loučovice. A marked hiking trail and a bike path run along the opposite bank of the Vltava River. Only about a kilometre to the west, the peak of Luč looms high over the valley of the Vltava River. Here you can admire massive rock formations from which one can enjoy beautiful views of the Vltava River valley, Čertova stěna (Devil's Wall) and the Lipno Reservoir.
